Sad: A puppy born with six legs was found abandoned in a parking lot

In a heartwarming story of compassion, an animal shelter came to the rescue of a very special puppy named Ariel. This adorable dog, born with six legs, was discovered abandoned in a parking lot.

Greenacres Rescue, a dedicated organization, shared Ariel's story on Facebook and asked anyone with information about her or her former owner to come forward.

Ariel's uniqueness caught the attention of many people and she quickly became a symbol of hope. Mikey, a spokesperson for the shelter, said: "We hope she can live a normal life if her tests come back favorable." 

Despite her extraordinary appearance, Ariel's internal organs are completely normal, raising the question of why she was born with this rare condition. Mikey explains, “We’ve never seen this before.”

Since her rescue, Ariel has settled in wonderfully in her foster home. She is surrounded by love and care as she begins her journey to a better future. The shelter is currently preparing to begin her vaccinations so that she receives the medical care necessary for her to thrive.
